What is happening in Iran?

Dear friends,

As I watch the crisis unfolding in Iran, my heart breaks for the thousands of innocent lives lost in the hope of freedom. I am deeply moved by the bravery of the Iranian people as they protest against a brutal regime that has kept them oppressed and in bondage for 47 years. I am torn between heartbreak and hope. Hope that change will come and freedom will have victory.

At this crucial hour, I praise God that ICNET Christian broadcasts are reaching inside Iran. Since the uprising, we witness a tremendous increase of listeners with millions tuning in daily. People are scared, uncertain and looking for hope. Many are giving their hearts to the Lord.

The Islamic regime has cut off electricity, water, and the Internet in an attempt to sever all lifelines with the outside world. But the hand of God cannot be stopped. The Lord is at work, turning people to salvation and raising up a great multitude of His army.

Please join me in prayer for Iran during these critical days.

Pray for the end of bloodshed and that the scheduled 800 executions will be stopped. Pray for a regime change, that the Iranian people can once again live in freedom.

Please also pray that DOHI can deliver financial support to families of Christian prisoners and help to those living in severe poverty, through our trusted ministry partners. We are grateful that the Lord has placed the right people in our path.
